Planned Parenthood: A REAL Crisis/Health Clinic for Women

Saw this story on a friend's page about a controversial billboard that went up in Texas by Heroic Media (a faith based NPO that promotes alternatives to abortion). The billboard reads: “The Most Dangerous Place For An African American Is In The Womb.” The webpage featured under that slogan is www.dangerousplace.com where you are greeted by this:

The most dangerous place for many children is while they are still in the womb. That's because at that point in their lives, they are unable to defend themselves. They have no choice of their own, so others are speaking for them, making decisions that involve their future. Too often, decisions are made to end the child's life through abortion. Please help us provide another voice for women to listen to, to choose. A voice that encourages the heroic decision to become a mother.

Heroic? So now it's heroic to convince women ONLY to bring a child into the world that they either don't want and/or are emotionally, financially and/or physically unable to support? The website directs women to clinics that offer free pregnancy tests under the guise of 'Women's Clinics/Centers.' But they are actually furthest from (as you can see in the video below, they claim to have convinced 80% of these women to not abort), using guilt tactics and worst yet providing vulnerable women with lots of misinformation about statistics on abortion and the long term affects.

If you are pregnant and want REAL alternatives without bias and misinformation, please PLEASE contact Planned Parenthood. (http://www.plannedparenthood.org/). They have a REAL track record of ACTUALLY helping women that doesn't involve a religious and judgmental agenda. These other 'women's health' organizations make me absolutely sick. They even went on to make this website to bash planned parenthood: http://www.ppabortsaa.org/ WHAT A JOKE YOU PEOPLE ARE. This makes me absolutely furious!

watch the video below for the story

Courtesy of Planned Parenthood:

There are two kinds of abortion in the U.S. in-clinic abortion and the abortion pill. If you are pregnant, you have options. If you are trying to decide if abortion is the right choice for you, you probably have many things to think about. Learning the facts about abortion may help you in making your decision. You may also want to learn more about parenting and adoption.

Only you can decide what is best for you. But we are here to help. A staff member at your local Planned Parenthood health center can discuss abortion and all of your options with you and help you find the services you need.

If you are under 18, your state may require one or both of your parents to give permission for your abortion or be told of your decision prior to the abortion. However, in most states you can ask a judge to excuse you from these requirements. Learn more about parental consent for abortion.
